Radio-Canada in our office

On September 26, Radio-Canada highlighted a trend that's redefining the world of professional furniture: revalorization. In its report “Cheaper and More Eco-Friendly Furniture”, journalist Marie-Claude Morin visited our facilities to discover how, at Réseau•B, we give a second life to office furniture.

Giving New Meaning to Corporate Furnishing

During her visit, Nicolas St-Germain, President of Réseau•B, explained the concrete advantages of revalorized furniture: “It's between 20% and 30% cheaper than the same new furniture, which makes it a very appealing financial saving. And environmentally, it produces about 40 times less greenhouse gas emissions to refurbish a product than to manufacture it from scratch.”

More and more companies and government organizations are now making this choice, convinced that it's possible to combine performance, design, and responsibility. These figures summarize the key advantage of revalorized furniture: a significantly reduced environmental impact and substantial savings for organizations that embrace it.

To revalorize means extending the life of materials, reducing pressure on natural resources, and offering solutions that are aesthetic, durable, and affordable.

A Pride That's Growing

For a long time, some organizations asked that our trucks park discreetly behind their buildings, afraid of being seen as “frugal.” Today, that time is over — companies are proud to display their choice of Réseau•B revalorized furniture. This change in perception sends a powerful message: circular furniture is no longer a Plan B — it's a conscious choice, one that blends performance, design, and social responsibility.

Recognition of a Circular Shift

As Daniel Normandin, Director of the Intersectoral Center for Circular Economy Studies and Research (ÉTS), reminded us:

“There's an environmental gain in reconditioning instead of buying new, because it obviously avoids the extraction of raw materials and the manufacturing of components.”

This testimony, along with Radio-Canada's media coverage, confirms what we've been observing for several years: the market is evolving, and the circular economy is establishing itself as a pragmatic, creative, and meaningful model for the future.

Together, Let's Keep Value in Circulation

Seeing our work featured by a national media outlet is a great recognition for our entire team, our partners, and our clients. It's also an invitation to keep rethinking our spaces, our habits, and our procurement choices.

Because ultimately, to revalorize a piece of furniture is much more than just extending its life, it's about taking part in a collective transformation toward an economy that's smarter, more human, and more respectful of the environment.

What if you took the step toward revalorized furniture too?
